Blue Wave is a compact, hand-held device that will get rid of existing acne on your skin, along with swelling and redness, and help protect your skin against future breakouts. It can be used by men and women of any age or skin type, and for it to work, it's not necessary that it ever touches your face. Along with each device, which is about the size of an electric razor, you'll also get Blue Wave skin renewal cream to help you fight your acne.
The cost of Blue Wave is $29.99 plus $9.99 shipping, for a total price of $39.98. This price was obtained from the As Seen on TV commercial page found at trybluewave.com; however, the company has since ceased selling Blue Wave and has taken down the website. Blue Wave may still be found for sale on Amazon or Ebay.
To begin using your Blue Wave, turn it on by pressing the silver button on its back.
After your device is turned on, position it very close to your face, so close that a finger can't fit between your face and the device, but don't let it touch your face. Keeping this same distance between it and your face, run the device over any area that contains acne, keeping it away from the eyes. Spend about 10 minutes in total doing this.
Once you've used your device on your face for 10 minutes, you can turn it off ( you'll need to repeat the above step three times a week for 10 weeks to see positive results ). If you've decided to use the included skin renewal cream, too, it can be applied to your face via your fingers at this point.
As you hold this acne-fighting device just above the surface of your face and move it around, the LED light waves coming from the device will penetrate deep into your skin. This penetration will eliminate bacteria that could potentially lead to acne breakouts, while also destroying existing acne and eliminating existing swelling and redness. The whole process is known as blue light photo therapy and never requires the device to actually touch your skin.
As the light from your device comes in contact with your face, this won't hurt or even feel uncomfortable, regardless of your skin type. In fact, many users will likely find the blue light that their device emits soothing, especially after a stressful day.
The light within each acne-fighting tool is of the LED variety, and these tend to last longer than other lights of their size, so you likely won't need a replacement for months or even years.
Given that each is about the size of an electric razor, bringing a Blue Wave device with you on a trip won't be difficult. You may even want to bring one to work or school with you if you'd prefer to fit in your 10 minutes or treatment a day during working hours.
Each device comes in a blue and white design that people of a variety of ages and of both genders will likely find attractive as opposed to ugly or embarrassing.
This acne-control tool has been approved by the U. S. Food and Drug Administration, which means that it's had to demonstrate that it meets certain manufacturing and safety standards.
During the clinical study of this tool, it was able to get rid of current acne, swelling and redness for 100 percent of participants, and reduce the intensity of future breakouts for 98 percent. These high numbers indicate that it'll likely work well for anyone who picks it up.
Unlike some beauty tools, this device doesn't make a loud, irritating noise, and unlike some acne creams, it doesn't give off an unpleasant smell, either. Actually, it gives off no smell at all.
If you've ever had acne, you probably know that it makes most people less confident when it comes to going outside the house to socialize. Therefore, when you use Blue Wave to eliminate all or virtually all your acne, you'll likely find yourself much more confident about visiting friends or doing other activities that let your face be seen. Your increased confidence may even lead to more success in your professional world.
While this tool has been designed for use on the face, you can also use it on your neck, chest, back, legs and arms if you have acne in those places. However, it's best to keep it away from the areas beneath your underwear, and remember to always keep it from getting too close to your eyes.
This device's handle is quite flat, which may make it hard for some users to hold, especially any users who temporarily or permanently struggle with mobility issues. It would be better if the handle was more cylindrical and perhaps a tad bit longer, as opposed to flat and wide.
While LED lights can burn for up to hundreds of thousands of hours without burning out, your device's light eventually will burn out, especially if you use it frequently. When that time comes, you'll need to obtain a replacement, and with the way the light is inserted into each device's design, this could be difficult.
