Blink Camera is a home security system that consists of two compact outdoor cameras, an indoor camera, and a sync module that you can connect to your home's WiFi network. Once you've connected your sync module, have added batteries to your cameras and have placed them within 100 feet of the module, it's claimed that they'll be fully operational. Following that, you'll be able to use the Blink app to view video and listen to audio from your camera via your smartphone.
The cost of Blink Camera is $199.96 and the shipping is FREE!

Before you choose locations for your cameras, it's best to download the corresponding Blink app and create a username and a difficult-to-guess password for yourself. The app will work on a wide variety of smartphones and tablets and will allow you to control some of the functions of your cameras while you're away from home. Plus, if you've got more than one smartphone or tablet, you won't be restricted to installing the app on just one of them.
After you've created a Blink account for yourself, you'll need to plug your sync module into electricity and then connect it to your WiFi network. Note that this must be a 2.4 GHz WiFi network, or else the module (and in turn, your cameras) may not function properly.
Once your module is plugged in and connected to an appropriate network, and you've added the two included AA lithium batteries to each camera, it'll be time to install the cameras. Keep in mind that the black ones can be installed indoors or out, while the white one must be kept indoors. All cameras must also be located within 100 feet of the sync module, or they won't work correctly. The installation of these cameras will only involve hanging them up (by using the included wall mounts) or placing them on a flat surface, as no wiring will be necessary.
The Blink home security system works by virtue of power-on-demand microchip technology, which will enable the batteries within each camera to conserve as much power as possible and last for up to two years. Your cameras will use as little power as they can to stay on and alert, and will only signal the batteries to deliver full power when a camera detects motion or you're viewing live video. As a result, your cameras will remain in an energy-efficient, low-power state for the majority of the time they're connected to your sync module. This will help contribute to a long life for all of the components of your Blink system.
As mentioned, all Blink Cameras are motion-activated, so if a potential intruder approaches your home or a car that's parked in your driveway, your Blink app will receive an alert. Even if prowling animals approach your home, perhaps looking for garbage to consume, a Blink Camera will be able to pick up on their motion and let you know about the intrusion.
These cameras are all very compact, about half the size of a smartphone, so there's little chance that a prowler will notice one and try to destroy it before attempting robbery or vandalism. Instead, they'll likely be taken by surprise if you receive a Blink alert and then tell them to "Get lost! " through a camera's two-way audio function.
As alluded to above, the Blink Cameras and the corresponding smartphone app offer a two-way audio function. This function will enable you to use your smartphone to communicate with someone who's standing near your camera while you're not home. Aside from telling a potential intruder to get lost, you could also use this function to thank a delivery person or tell a knocking neighbor that you'll be back later.
When you use your smartphone app to watch the video footage that one of your cameras has collected, this footage will be presented in high-definition, so you'll be able to clearly see what's going on. After watching the latest video clips, you'll be able to store hundreds of them online (on the "cloud"), free of charge, for up to one year.
If you want to let people know that your home is protected by a Blink system, a yard sign and decals to stick to windows are included with each system for that purpose. Of course, there is the alternative of keeping your system a secret if you think a prowler might try to break one of your cameras.
Since the outdoor cameras included within each Blink system are meant to resist weather damage, you'll be able to leave these cameras outside during a wide variety of weather conditions. It's unlikely that rain, sleet, snow, hail, or high winds will ever break your cameras, although you may have to wipe some water off their lenses after they've been exposed to precipitation.
You'll be able to use your smartphone and one of your Blink Cameras to keep an eye on kids, teens or seniors whom you may worry about while they're home alone. Just place one of your cameras near the space in which they'll spend most of their time, and you'll be able to use your smartphone to see them and talk to them while they're there. The same goes if any member of your household is sick or injured and is causing you to worry while you're out of the house.
You won't have to shell out a monthly premium in order to keep using your Blink Cameras. Once you own them, you'll truly own them and can move them wherever you want, as long as they remain close enough to the sync module to operate effectively. If you ever decide that you don't want to use them any longer, you can take them down and unplug the sync module without dealing with any cancellation of a contract or fees.
You'll get three cameras within each Blink Camera set, but if you think you'll need more, you'll be able to connect up to seven more to your sync module. To get more, you'll need to contact the producing company to find out if you're able to obtain single cameras without obtaining an additional sync module. Having more cameras than three won't be a bad idea if you live in a crime-ridden area or want to watch school-aged children in various rooms of your home on a regular basis.

I have the Blink 5 pack of XT2 Camera. Three cameras are mounted inside the house with no issues other than a delay. I mounted 1 camera outside on the garage wall. If I press the camera button it says thumbnail failed after a long running time. If I press the motion picture button once every 50 times it will give me a picture. My house is only about 1900 sq ft. Can anyone help?

I install a Blink Camera 150 feet away from receiver and signal keep dropping out
Is there any way to extend the signal for longer receiving distance or add a second receiver to the same account closer to the further camera.
