This glove is made out of a breathable fabric so sweating is not an issue.
There is an adjustable strap as part of the glove designed so that you can wrap it around your arm no matter what size hand you have.
The stretchy fabric actually fits any size hand.
You get to have both hands free when you work on a project.
The fabric is waterproof so you can work in the rain or on something like pipes and plumbing without issue.
The light is so durable that it can be run over by a car and will not be damaged.
The light is stronger and brighter than other lights because of the LED bulb.
Customers seem very happy with it, particularly the easy light right at the fingertips, directionally where you need it. Other customers are very happy with the ability to go hands-free.
The company responsible for the creation of this glove is very well-known lighting products. This glove is one of many lighting options that make life much easier.
You can use it for all manner of things like working on computers or electronics, threading a needle. Or, use it for fishing, doing crafts, lighting up the lock on your front door, looking under the hood, or navigating an electric box in the dark.
Yes the LED lights work. However it is not an actual glove. It does not cover your fingertips nor does it even cover all of your fingers. Instead, it only goes over your thumb and your pointer finger where the two lights are placed. In almost all cases this shouldn't prevent a problem unless you are trying to work in a very thin small space. Such a space is where the added bump of the two lights on your finger and thumb might get in the way of your activity. The advertisement also states that you get LED powerful flashlight in the palm of your hand but there is no light coming out from the palm.
The atomic gloves has a special thumb and pointer finger slot through which you should place your right thumb and pointer finger.
Pull the fabric down until it fits snugly over these two fingers.
Wrap the remaining fabric strip around your wrist and then secure the strap.
Press the button on your hand to activate the two lights and to turn them off as necessary.
Doing things like small crafts or sewing in dim lighting is not only bad for the eyes but impedes progress. When you have lights from above they might make shadows where it is most inconvenient. Lights from overhead lamps or recessed lighting in your home are actually the main cause of shadows that get in the way of things like reading or seeing a buttonhole. With the glove on you are able to shine the light exactly where you need it without having to bend your neck or move your project to and fro.
Doing any type of electrical work is now safer because you don't have to try and hold a light with one hand. What's more, when you use something like a lantern it generally casts a bright light right in your line of sight right in your eyes which can be detrimental. All of these issues are avoided when you have light coming directly from your glove, because the light shines precisely where you need it.
Having one of these in your car allows you a very precise light with which to check things like oil in the middle of the night or verify whether something needs extra fluid. If you use it on the car remember that it is insufficient for alerting other drivers of your presence. You should always have some other manner of warning or alert to drivers on the road so you don't get hit.
However, it is a great thing to have when you are working under the hood and cannot see. Looking under the hood of the car revealed exactly why it can be difficult to get light precisely where you need it.
With so many things stacked on top of one another, many flashlights will not reach precisely where you need them to and even if they reach nearby they cast lots of shadows. Gloved hands with lights on them rectify this immediately.
The advertisement states that it is stronger and brighter than other lights. In this case other lights referred to non-LED bulbs. By comparison yes it is brighter than traditional bulbs which are not LED bulbs or any type of flashlight, headlight, lamp, or lighting fixture that does not have an LED bulb. However, compared to other LED bulbs it is not necessarily any brighter it is roughly the same number of lumens.
The light seems to only come in a right-handed version so you cannot wear two sets one on the left and one on the right hand.
You can use it to locate things that are otherwise difficult to see. For example, if you have a home desktop computer and you need to plug something into the USB port located on the backside, most people have the computer up against a wall or a corner. This means that in order to reach the USB drive in the back you have to lean over it and look down, hoping that you are getting the right outlet.
With flashlights, you can shine the light down but you can't necessarily get the exact angle where you are trying to see, the angle where your hands are working. Using these gloves however you can do exactly that. Wearing the gloves allows you the exact directional light where your finger and thumb are appointed. So, if your finger and thumb are pointed at the back of the computer trying to find a USB port, the light will shine exactly where you need it.
