Features

  • Spinning Brush

The spinning brush is made up of all-natural bristles. These bristles or fibers spin at 82 rpm.

  • Remove Dead Skin

You can gently and quickly lift away old dead skin to reveal a fresh and smooth skin texture below.

  • Boost Circulation

You can boost your circulation when you do this to help detoxify the body.

  • Spa Approved Design

This design is spa approved and has received a five-star rating, though it is not said where that five-star rating comes from.

Pros

  • Exfoliate

You can exfoliate your whole body with this. Exfoliation is simply removing dead skin cells from the surface of your skin. Perform it mechanically with an abrasive scrub on your skin to help dissolve and remove dead skin cells. As you age the process of cell regeneration starts to slow down.

The result is your body is a lot slower to get rid of dead skin cells and create new ones. Eventually old skin cells pileup on the surface of your skin which is what causes the skin to look dry, rough, and dull. Furthermore, building up dead skin cells on your body can result in excess oil and clogged skin resulting in blemishes.

Proper exfoliation removes this layer of dead skin, unclogging the body and allowing fresh cells to be revealed. Doing so opens up the skin to better except moisturizing products like lotion deeper into the skin. In short exfoliating regularly does leave your skin healthy and fresh.

Cons

  • One Size

It only comes in one size. Though it is meant to fit in the palm of your hand. If you have particularly small hands you might not be able to grab the whole thing with just one hand which will make it difficult to use.

  • Not Best for Face

This is a handheld device, a round device that you can hold. However, the pore cleansing facial brush only comes in one large size which is ideally suited to scrub along the cheeks. Maybe the forehead but it will be difficult to try to angle it properly enough to reach areas like the nose or the brow.

How It Works

This design lifts away dead skin with a soft circulations to reveal the nicer, newer skin below. Whole point of exfoliation, what this brush does, is to remove dead skin which tends to sit on top. Dry skin when you don't tend to it will sometimes just rest on top of your skin, flaking or peeling away little bits at a time. This is what causes that audit white dust layer that comes off when you scratch your skin. Using this handheld device you can scrub all of that away on a regular basis so that you don't have the lingering dead skin cells but instead have fresh skin below.

How it's Different from Competitors

Customers will find lots of small brushes which have a similar function to this but they are simply not circular or meant to be held in your hand. Said options are meant to just be held in your grip. Most of them are designed to be used in the shower while you are washing your face. Main difference is that they don't always come with this many attachments nor are they meant to be used beyond the face. Alternatives are typically only meant to be used on the face and not the whole body.

There are different attachments you can use to clean your whole body. The wave massager is an attachment that gently massages your skin made up of contoured waves. Peti disc is a pedicure disc attachment which is really just a circular pumice stone that you can use to help exfoliate your feet the same way you would during a pedicure. Pore cleansing facial brush is similar in design but it has groupings of bristles that are slightly softer and meant to cleanse your face. Primarily though the will use the main exfoliating brush which is meant to be used on the majority of your body. Pore cleansing facial brushes remove makeup too. Wave massagers reduce stress while relaxing your muscles. Pedicure disc buffs away calloused feet. No longer do you have to deal with messy scrubs or lotions.

Tips & Tricks

  1. Sensitive Skin

The best type of exfoliation really depends on your complexion and how sensitive your skin is. People who have very sensitive skin or severe acne need exfoliating products and methods which are gentler on the skin. In such cases this particular design might be too rough so you should talk to professional to see which method is best.

  2. Once Per Week

Women should exfoliate once per week using manual exfoliating scrubs like this one. Avoid using it on any area of the skin which is injured. Be gentle, using only a light touch. Should you apply too much force or pressure it can hurt your skin. Limit the exfoliation routine to once per week. Should you exfoliate more than once per week it could damage, your tape, or dry your skin. This is especially true on the face.

  3. Pedi Attachment

If you're going to use a pedicure attachment, it is best to soak your feet for a few minutes in warm water. Soak in something such as in a bathtub with an inch or two of warm water before you try to exfoliate. Doing so will make it easier to remove all of the dead or dry skin or calluses.

  4. Use With Special Soaps

You can use this with nothing more than water or air but for an extra special touch you can use a special cleanser or soap of your choosing.

How to Use (Step by Step)

  1. Attach

Attach whichever section you want, out of the four different sections to the purple top by cooking and unhooking the attachments.

  2. Turn on

Hold in your hand, pressing the single on off button. When it is turned on the small blue light below the button will illuminate. Press the same button to turn it off.

  3. Use

Run it along the area you want to clean, turning off when you are done.

Warnings

  • Do Not Press Too Hard

When you use this you want to be careful not to press too hard especially on sensitive areas. Less sensitive areas like the legs or the feet you can scrub slightly harder, but more sensitive areas like the belly or the face should be dealt with carefully.

I Recommend Buying it!

I love my BB Brush! I use the all over body brush every night before I take a shower and it has helped smooth out my skin so much! Because I'm in my 40's, I only use the face attachment once a week and it's amazing how great my skin feels and looks afterward. The massage attachment helps with a neck injury and with my restless leg syndrome and the pedi disc has made my dry, Florida-girl heels look so much better!
