Battle Vision eyeglasses are sunglasses that will not only filter out glare from the sun's rays and other bright lights but will also allow you to see objects up to 10 times more clearly. They're designed with both adult men and women in mind and can be used for a variety of outdoor activities such as hiking, biking or paddling on the water. They can be helpful while you're driving a vehicle or a motorcycle, too, especially on an exceptionally sunny day.

How It Works

Each pair of these sunglasses has hi-tech, polarised lenses that will enable you to see things that you wouldn't be able to see with just your eyes (or regular sunglasses) alone. Additionally, they enhance the color of anything that you see and reduce glare, all the while protecting your eyes from the sun's potentially harmful UV rays. They're made with shape-memory polymer, so if they ever get bent or twisted out of shape while you're using them, for whatever reason, you'll be able to quickly bend them back to their original shape.

Our Newest Review: Egg Pod

Features

  • Unisex Design

These sunglasses feature a bold, unisex design, so they won't look too masculine or too feminine on any person who wears them. Since they're fairly flexible, they can always be bent a bit to fit virtually all head shapes and sizes.

  • Thick Arms

Each pair of Battle Vision sunglasses has thick black arms that are far less likely to break than thinner ones. They'll also stay firmly on your ears while you do a variety of things, including intense sporting activities. Plus, if you accidentally bend one of the arms a little too far at any point, its shape-memory polymer material will allow it to quickly snap back to its original angle.

  • Carrying Case Included

The Battle Vision sunglasses come with a solid black carrying case emblazoned with the Battle Vision logo, which you can use to store the glasses in when you're not wearing them. That way, you won't have to worry about the lenses accidentally getting scratched. This carrying case is compact enough to fit in an average-sized purse or the glove compartment of your vehicle.

Positive Points

  • Promote Road Safety

Wearing a pair of these sunglasses while you drive will promote road safety since they'll allow you to see potential obstacles up ahead that you otherwise wouldn't see. You'll be able to watch other drivers, pedestrians and road signs more closely than usual, thereby increasing your chances of avoiding an accident.

  • Enhance Sports Performance

If you wear a pair of Battle Vision sunglasses while participating in an athletic activity, you'll likely find that your performance is enhanced. For those users whose sport of choice involves a ball, like tennis, the ball will appear in crystal-clear high-definition, which'll likely improve your chances of hitting it well. Along the same lines, if you participate in running or biking races that involve travelling along complex courses, these sunglasses will help you see both the route and your opponents more clearly than usual.

  • Reduce Eye Strain

Due to the fact that they block glare from the sun, putting on a pair of these sunglasses will automatically reduce the amount of eye strain you experience in a given day. That means your eyes may be less tired after work, so you may be able to do more reading or play more computer games while relaxing at home. By experiencing less eye strain each day, you'll also reduce the likelihood that you'll develop eye problems when you reach old age.

  • Include Statue of Liberty Card

Besides a carrying case, each pair of Battle Vision sunglasses also comes with what's known as a Statue of Liberty reveal card. To immediately see how powerful these sunglasses are, you can try looking at the card with the sunglasses off, and then put them on. The majority of users will not be able to see anything on the card with the glasses off, but will suddenly see the Statue of Liberty after putting them on.

Negative Points

  • May Not Fit Children

The Battle Vision sunglasses come in an appropriate size for most adult men and women, so they might be too big for a child if they were to attempt to wear them. Wearing sunglasses that are too big is never a good idea, as they may fall off while one is out and about. While these sunglasses will stay intact if dropped, their lenses aren't immune to scratches.

  • Look Out of Place Indoors

Some people might want to wear these sunglasses indoors at times, such as when they want to see the picture on a movie screen more clearly. However, if you wear a big, shiny and bold pair of sunglasses like this in a public building or house, you may look a bit out of place and get some strange looks. The creation of a less conspicuous indoor pair that offers the same benefits could be a good idea.

  • No Prescription Option

If you normally wear eyeglasses to see, you can't get a pair of Battle Vision sunglasses customized to fit your prescription. You'll either have to wear the sunglasses on top of your glasses ( which could look and feel awkward) or forgo using them at all, along with any benefits they would offer you.

Save Money

Standard sunglasses often have cheap plastic frames that'll break quickly and often, even if you just sit on your frames for a second or drop them on the floor. As a result, you may need to replace a pair of standard sunglasses every few weeks or months. That likely won't be the case if you obtain a pair of Battle Vision sunglasses, though, as their frames are made of much more durable material. Even if your lenses ever get scratched, you'll likely still be able to see more clearly through them than you would through a standard non-high-definition pair of lenses.

Alternative

There is one product that might prove to be your favourite when it comes to finding an alternative that might be on par with Battle Vision. That alternative is none other than Sniper Vision. The two words ‘Battle’ and ‘Sniper’ have very similar connotations and might have possibly already given you the hint as to how closely these two products are associated with specialized use. These glasses have been created by Atomic Beam using high-definition lenses that are polarized, so that not only are you able to see with HD-clarity, but you have your eyes protected from ultraviolet radiation.

So, just like BattleVision, this piece of equipment does protect your eyes while allowing super-clear vision. In fact, you might even be able to see things that you would not have otherwise been able to see with the naked eye. Very importantly, if one is in the armed or special forces where clear, precise vision could mean a matter of survival, these glasses can come in rather handy. You could also find yourself very comfortable using these glasses in adverse weather conditions, particularly while riding your motorcycle, or while hunting or fishing.

Sniper Vision, as the name suggests, is meant to enhance one’s long-distance vision. These glasses do so to such a degree that one can use it as an enhancement tool while trying to fit into a role as an elite sniper, either professionally or as a hobby.

All-in-all, Sniper Vision is certainly something that could be considered to be on comparable grounds with Battle Vision, in terms of style, eye-protection, durability and vision enhancement. It is certainly something that could be considered as a great all-purpose vision enhancer and no less. When one is looking for an alternative, Sniper Vision does the job just right in providing something appropriate enough.

Tips & Tricks

  1. Offer to Grab

Everyone likes a freebie or a bit of allowance given by the seller in terms of shipping and handling. Not just that, generally sellers themselves enjoy giving out freebies just in order to retain customer loyalty and acquire new clientele. All manufacturers are keen on encouraging their customers to buy their goods. In order to get a sale they are quite often willing to cut into their profits just to be able to provide the customer with a freebie or a discount or free shipping.

If you so choose to buy your pair of Battle Vision right now, then you will be pleasantly surprised that the manufacturers of this product have decided to cancel out all shipping and handling charges. Rest assured, without any exceptions. Not just that, if you choose to buy Battle Vision, then you might be excited to know that you will also be provided with some freebies. They include a complimentary, exclusive Statue of Liberty reveal card and a free carry case.

What’s more, if you double your purchase by choosing the ‘double offer’ you will get twice the number of freebies mentioned above such as the Statue of Liberty reveal card and the carry case. All you have to do is pay an extra fee for the second set of glasses and enjoy the doubled-up benefits that come along.

  2. Wash Regularly

Like any pair of sunglasses, they are something that we usually use in the outdoors. This could not be more true with Battle Vision, a pair of sunglasses that can be used in almost any situation while in the outdoors. That is the reason why is it important to take care of them by regularly washing and cleaning them so that the dirt-laden grime over their surface does not get stubbornly lodged all over.

All one has to do every once in a while, say around every week, depending on how heavily they are used, is to run your glasses under a tap of running water. Then apply a mild soapy solution and rinse immediately.

Warnings

  • Lacks CoD

Through all the freebies and free shipping, there’s one thing that might not quite sit that well with a lot of customers out there, and that is the inability to make payment on delivery. Usually, most of the things we buy online have a built-in provision of allowing the user or customer to pay for the goods once the goods are delivered at their chosen address.

This feature makes it convenient for those who want to first see the item they’re purchasing before making the necessary payment for it. The feature also provides the customer a sense of reassurance that what they’re buying has got to be genuine if the seller’s willing to accept payment on delivery rather than at the point of sale.

However, with Battle Vision, you have to be able to pay immediately at the point of sale online, before the item is actually delivered to your doorstep. There is no provision of paying later after the product arrives.

Of course, you can do so via either a credit card or a debit card or even a bank account.

  • Keep in Case

It goes without saying that these glasses have been made to last and are robustly built to weather the outdoors. However, just like any other pair of glasses available out there, even these glasses have a limit to the amount of wear-and-tear they can withstand, particularly those specialized lenses that are fitted within the frame.

While in use, you don’t need to worry about damage to the glasses. Through the process of self-preservation, while trying to save yourself from damage you will inadvertently also save your glasses from unnecessary exposure to damaging factors out there in the wild. However, while storing them away it is very important to make sure you always place these glasses back in the case provided for them and not put them directly into your ruck-sack or expedition bag.

The reason being, repetitive rubbing and scratching of the specialized surfaces of the lenses can occur, leading to permanent damage to the integrity of the lenses.

Child Safety

Children are by nature curious, especially the ones below the age of 5. They tend to want to experiment with almost every single thing that they come into contact with. They do so without really knowing the dangers associated with their usage of a particular item or product. Curiosity can quite often get the better of them, and that is the reason why children are more prone to accidents than adults, especially if left unsupervised.

That is why it has been recommended that Battle Vision be kept away from children under the age of 5, especially infants and newborns. Utmost care has been taken to smoothen out all of the edges of this article. However, it is still something that can very well pose a risk to eye injury, or even ear or throat injury if accidentally inserted into any one of these orifices.

Furthermore, the skin of a child is much more delicate than that of an adult. Even though these glasses aren’t anything like razors, when used incorrectly over one’s skin, particularly the skin of a child, it might be capable of causing mild to moderate damage in some cases at least.

Hence, it is advisable to keep this product away from children.

Endorsement

Before buying something from a manufacturer, most of us are usually interested in knowing what kind of reviews have been left by users in the past while using a particular product. The wider the range of users providing the review the better and more informed a decision one can take while deciding on buying what the seller is trying to market.

Generally, users do not hesitate in leaving at least a brief review about whatever they’ve purchased, because if it was excellent they are usually excited enough to be willing to tell the world about it. On the other hand, if a user buys something that turns out to be below standard, then the chances are quite high that this user will be leaving some nasty feedback about that they purchased. Either way, it is not unusual to find reviews about almost anything out there in the market that has been there for even a short while.

Battle Vision has been endorsed by users belonging to diverse backgrounds, from the armed forces to those involved in multiple outdoor adventure activities. They are notably a sunglass that has impressed its users in its ease of use and how convenient it is for almost any situation one is caught in within the outdoors. From what its users have had to say so far it can surely be said that there is certainly a general consensus to this device doing what it says it does. There hasn’t been any significant deviation reported from users in terms of it being fit for purpose.

Of course, there are several out there whose feedback hasn’t yet reached the seller, and whose opinion does count, including that of yours.

Broke in Less than two Months/Lens Stained

I play water volleyball in an outdoor pool during the summer. The lens is stained even though I wipe them after play. This last week the frames broke above the bridge. I watched the TV commercial and I thought these glasses were indestructible. Do not believe it! If I could get a refund I would from the manufacturer.

You'll be Sorry!

I ordered these over a month ago, I have yet to receive them. Attempted to contact them and received no reply. Just another as seen on TV Junk scam. Don't waste your time, just go buy some at a brick and mortar store.

Sinus Infection

As a truck driver, I thought I would give them a try. They we're great for the first couple of weeks but started to get uncomfortable on the right side of my nose. The way they fit on my nose pinched off a sinus duct on the right side resulting in a bad sinus infection and a very painful week. Maybe 1 in a 100 problem and admit my nose is slightly off center but I definitely can't wear them anymore.

JUNK

These Chinese made glasses are not worth purchasing. The advertisement on TV is fake and false. These glasses are defective and will break I had the two pair and the frames fell apart after taking them off my face. The noise piece will crack. This Chinese made Junk is a waste of your time and money.

Poor Fit

These glasses are no better than the ones I have traditionally worn for many years. I probably would wear them except for the fact they don't fit well on my nose and are nonadjustable. Light is able to come from underneath the lenses due to the glasses riding too high on my nose.

Marketing Scam

I just got a called about my sunglass order, and the rep said they would be sending me additional gifts that I did not order, Sounds like I will be stuck sending things back I don't want and prob. Having to fight them with BBB if they charge my credit card number for these additional items. What a joke.

SAVE YOUR MONEY, YOUR EYES, AND YOUR LIFE

Pure Junk. I'm very careful, even kept them in hard cases. Both broke within 2 months. The distortion from the chintzy lenses is awful. I wrote the Department of Commerce and attached a lab evaluation of the danger to the eyes and vision distortion leading to accidents.

Frames Are Junk

Don't waste your money. Within six months of purchasing, both frames broke over the right lens. Just opened them up and they broke. Their lifetime guarantee is a joke because they want ten dollars to send you a new pair. What a deal.

Both Pair Frames Broke

Within a month or two, the plastic frames on two pair of Battle Vision glasses broke. At $20, one would expect them to last longer. I've read several similar comments. The function of the lenses was quite good. I wish I could continue to wear them. Kind of difficult with substandard quality frames.

The Ladies or Daytime Version

I received mine today. The night vision were fine. They were a little big for me. Excitedly I tried the day time and there is a gray coating on the inside lens. I went out in the bright sunlight and still could barely see through them. I don't wear glasses. The coating is so thick that its like looking through a dirty 100 year old window. Is there something that is supposed to be done? I washed rinsed and dried with a cloth for glasses. Help.

Both Pairs Seemingly Disintegrated in one day

Not happy at all, I know its only 20 bucks, but they were actually working for a couple of hours on while i was on the beach, then, systematically, i had structural failure on both pairs in the same spot. Really was pushing for them to work out but now I get to see what kind of headache the warranty process is.

They Break

I bought 4 pair and they have all broken in the same place. It only takes about a month for them to break and I am very protective of my glasses. It is not worth the price even at 10.00 a pair.

Atomic Beam Battle Glasses say no.

Sorry no comparison to drugstore amber polaroid wrap around. Definitely no comparison to prescription quality glasses. Color is muddy and clarity inferior probably due to the coating on the lens, or cheap plastic.

My Atomic Beam sunglasses broke 5 days after I received them. So much for being “unbreakable”. Hope they let me return them for a pair that will last longer than 5 days.
