To start, place the bacon that you want to cook on the inner rack of the device, making sure that no pieces are lying on top of each other.
Pop your device in the microwave for four minutes, during which it'll cook and crisp the bacon within it.
After your microwave's timer beeps, your bacon will be ready to eat on its own or add to any dish you choose.
Once your Bacon Blast is in the microwave, your bacon will be cooked while the inner rack is lying flat. Following that, the rack will automatically elevate, creating the shape of an upside-down V, and the crisping cycle will begin. While all this goes on, fat will drain off the bacon through small slots on the rack, and the outer tray will catch the drips.
With other microwave-safe trays, you may need to use a microwave-safe cover so your food doesn't spit and splatter on the walls or ceiling of your microwave as it cooks. However, Bacon Blast has been specifically designed not to spit and splatter.
Both the inner rack and outer tray that make up each Bacon Blast apparatus are dishwasher safe, so you won't need to spend time washing them by hand. Note: The two pieces should be separated before you add them to your dishwasher.
Besides being able to cook various types of bacon in your Bacon Blast, you'll also be able to add virtually any ingredient to the bacon before cooking it. You could go with traditional ingredients such as garlic, cheese, barbecue sauce, or honey, or choose less traditional ones like root beer or even chocolate. Whatever you choose will be effectively blended into the flavor of your bacon during the cooking process.
By draining extra fat off a batch of bacon as it cooks and crisps it, this device helps promote healthy eating habits.
Each Bacon Blast comes with a recipe book, so if you're not sure what to make first, you can consult the book for ideas.
This apparatus is of a moderate size, so if you have a small microwave, there's a chance it won't quite fit inside.
Many people choose to cook bacon in a frying pan, but these tend to splatter a lot, and bacon cooked in this way usually ends up covered in grease.
Bacon can also be cooked in the oven, but in order to do this, you'll need to wait quite awhile for the oven to heat up. Furthermore, its heat could add to the heat of your home on a hot day.
If you like bacon, the bacon at most restaurants probably tastes good to you, but frequently eating at a restaurant takes up a lot of time and requires quite a bit of money.
Other microwave-safe trays can be used to cook a batch of bacon, but these won't crisp your bacon like Bacon Blast does, so you may find it feels rubbery.
