Bacon Bake is a rectangular-shaped rack that you can use to quickly cook a package of bacon in your oven. This rack will sit within virtually any pan, including those made of metal or glass, regardless of whether the pan is shallow like a cookie sheet or a few inches deep. It'll cook your bacon in a matter of minutes, while draining excess fat and grease off each slice and therefore making it healthier for you.
The cost of Bacon Bake is $10.00 plus $6.99 shipping. The special TV offer allows you to receive a second Bacon Bake by paying the extra shipping fee of $6.99 for a total price of $23.98. Price is from As Seen on TV Commercial page: tvstuffsale.com
The Bacon Bake rack has been designed to evenly distribute the heat coming from your oven among all the slices of bacon within the rack. Hence, you won't end up with some slices that are barely cooked while others are overcooked or even burnt. As your bacon cooks, fat and grease will drip through the spaces in the tray in order to be collected by the pan below. After you're done cooking, the fat and grease can simply be dumped from the pan as waste instead of being consumed.
To start, place your uncooked bacon strips in the rack, making sure that they're evenly spaced. For best results, you should not try to fit more than one package of bacon in the rack at once.
Once you're done laying out your strips, plop your filled rack in any cooking pan you have on hand ( as long as that pan will fit in your oven ).
Slide the rack and pan into your oven horizontally in order to cook your bacon, following the directions for temperature and time in your included recipe guide.
After your bacon has cooked, lift your Bacon Bake tray from the cooking pan it's in and place it on a flat surface. From there, you can get your bacon ready to be served.
At this point, you'll likely notice that your cooking pan has some fat and grease in it. Drain this directly into your sink or trash bin, or dump it into a more compact container before disposing of it.
Your Bacon Bake rack will not only cook standard thin or thick-sliced pork-based bacon, it'll also cook turkey bacon or vegetarian bacon just as effectively.
This rack will remove up to half the fat from your bacon slices, something that apparatuses like frying pans or standard metal cooking pans won't do. Therefore, the bacon you cook within the rack won't contain as much cholesterol or as many calories as it would otherwise, making it healthier for consumption.
The Bacon Bake rack can be useful for individuals and families alike at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You may want to use it to cook bacon slices to be paired with your morning eggs or added to a sandwich, or bacon bits to top salads or other dinner dishes.
Each rack comes with a recipe booklet that'll help you get started with using the device, and may give you meal ideas when you're out of inspiration.
Cooking bacon in a frying pan is common, but unless you want to eat bacon covered in fat and grease, you'll need to use paper towel to wipe the greasy gunk off your strips.
Many people choose to use a standard cooking sheet or pan on its own to cook bacon in the oven. However, with this method, there's no guarantee that bacon will cook as quickly or as evenly as it would with Bacon Bake.
Bacon that's been cooked in the microwave often doesn't taste as crispy as desired, and some plastic microwave-safe dishes contain the potentially harmful chemical bpa.
