Atomic Beam Reach

Rate this product

Atomic Beam Reach is a grabber flashlight combination. Where as most things on the market help you to grab things when they fall, this has magnets and a long arm to magnetically attract and hold them. More than that though, it has a bright light that lets you see where your lost items have gone, then retrieve them. When in the dark, or in need of help, use the strobe to help you get help.

Total Cost Breakdown

The cost of Atomic Beam Reach is $19.99 and the shipping is FREE! Price is from As Seen on TV Commercial page: atomicbeamreach.com

Features

  • Swivel

Swivel the direction or position of the light and aim it however you need. This is what will help you to see when things get lost in corners, under the furniture, or in tight spaces.

  • Lantern

You do not have to use it as a flashlight alone. Super bright, it easily becomes a lantern that you can use to get the brightest light when you are facing something like a power outage.

  • Magnets

Powerful magnet are on both ends. This is what helps you to retrieve any lost items or use the light hands-free, allowing you to free up your hands for something else. Both ends being magnetic means you can stick one end of the flashlight to something like the hood of a car. After that, swivel the light downward to light up the engine or the oil and turn it on. Stick the magnet anywhere it will hold on which ever end is best for you.

  • Flat Panel Led

Atomic Beam flat panel LED technology allows the light to be seen from miles away. This means that in the event of something bad happening, you can easily use the light to fill an entire room. No longer will you be stuck with a tiny light from a phone. Instead, let the technology work for you and light up a path toward safety.

  • Strobe

There is a bright white light option for the cars, but there are also safety red. Their safety red LED lights let you alert others or signal for help when things have taken a turn for the worst. Emergencies do not have to be life threatening when you are able to signal with the red color, seen from miles away. In the event of real emergencies, do not just rely on the red light. There is a strobe setting that will send out an emergency strobe flash.

Pros

  • Magnets

The magnets were tested for their power, and when you combine a handful of them, they can lift a 50 pound drum. Again, this was with a handful of the lights, not just one, so do not try to lift fifty pounds with one. However, rest assured that it is strong enough to lift the metal objects you have lost.

  • Extensions

The gooseneck on the light is lightweight and retractable. This means you can easily fit it inside of a backpack or purse, much the same way you would with a regular flashlight. However, it becomes the size and length you need with a simple extension.

  • Neck

The neck is small enough that it can reach into places you might not want to go. When a spoon falls down the garbage disposal, do not risk injury. Instead, let this light guide you, literally, and retrieve the spoon for you. If you drop keys into the toilet, let this extendable arm do the trick and retrieve them. When you are camping and drop something into a rushing river, don’t risk falling into the water. Reach down with the Atomic Reach and grab it from the safety of the shoreline.

  • Lifetime Guarantee

With this order you get a lifetime guarantee. They guarantee that the object is rather safe and secure, that it will not be broken even if you run it over with a car or smash it with a hammer between two cinder blocks.

Warnings

  • Battery Life

In order to operate the light you need 3 AAA batteries so be sure to always carry around spare batteries. The product information does not say anything about how long the battery life is for regular use so it will be difficult to determine when it might die. That being said, having spare batteries means that in the event of those terrible emergencies, you will be able to sustain the emergency beam or the red light. Do not let the batteries die during a tragic event.

How it's Different from Competitors

It has an extendable gooseneck that has a bright light on one end. This gooseneck lets you extend not only your reach but your visibility. Compared to other flashlights on the market this gooseneck and the magnets on both ends are particularly unique. Many other flashlights on the market today afford users a bright light, or a mixture of light colors, or even the emergency strobe setting. What many of them lack is the ability to grab hold of something that you have lost and are searching for.

Dropping a phone or a ring under the furniture is always difficult because you cannot easily retrieve it, even if your regular flashlight lights it up. Extend the neck on this light and you can not only see more, but you can use the end with the light to magnetically attach. Bring back your lost goods for good this time. Nuts and bolts in the garage, lost keys, and more are all easily retrieved.

Looking at other grabbers compared to this grabber, you get a much better value with this unit. Ordinary grabbers will certainly grab with it is you need the same as the Atomic Reach. However, the Atomic Reach has powerful magnets, is extendable, has a bright lantern feature, and is lightweight. Others are not.

Does It Really Work?

So far it would seem that it does really work well, particularly as effectively as it claims. It certainly can be seem from a ways away, but it is no as bright as other lights. The actual size of the light is really the biggest concern here. Magnets, extensions and such all work fine, but the actual size might not work for your situation. If you are camping and want a night lantern, this is not what you want. Instead if you need a big, bright light to fill your room during emergencies, again, this might not be it. How bright or how far the light reaches is not in question, but rather, the physical limitations of the size of the light panel itself. Just bear that in mind when you are comparing different lights or lanterns out there.
