Arctic Air Freedom is a horseshoe-shaped personal space cooler that's meant to be worn around the neck while you're either indoors or out. It's specified that when you wear this cooling device, you'll be able to keep your hands free to do the activities and chores of your choice. Meanwhile, it'll cool your body temperature down to up to 20 degrees below the temperature of your environment. Furthermore, each device is rechargeable, if you plug it into a USB port.

How to Use (Step by Step)

  1. Turn on Device

When you receive your Arctic Air Freedom device, you'll be able to start the cooling process by pressing the power button that you'll find on one side, close to the bottom.

  2. Place Around Neck

Once you've turned on your device's power, place it around your neck with the open side at the front of your body. Almost immediately, you should begin to feel a cool breeze emanating from the device and thereby cooling your body down.

  3. Resume Activities

With your cooling device hanging around your neck, you can resume your daily activities, regardless of whether you plan on playing sports, puttering around the yard, or just sitting and relaxing. This device has a lightweight design, so it shouldn't feel bulky around your neck as you move about.

  4. Charge Device (optional)

After up to eight hours, you'll notice that your Arctic Air Freedom tool is no longer producing a cool breeze. That means you'll need to use a USB cable to connect the device to a USB port, in order to recharge the device's battery. Once you've charged it for at least an hour or so, you'll be able to turn it on and wear it in the same way you previously did.

How It Works

While you're wearing your Arctic Air Freedom device, and its power is on, it'll suck in warm or hot air from your environment and convert it into cool, purified air. In turn, this cool, breezy air will hit your neck and then gravitate to the rest of your body in order to cool you down all over. This device will do its job without requiring you to stop what you're doing and hang onto it, and wherever you go, it'll bring cool air along with you.

Features

  • Compact and Comfortable

Each white air-cooling device is about the same size as a pair of padded headphones that you'd use to listen to music. Therefore, aside from feeling quite lightweight against any user's neck, it won't take up much storage space when you need to carry it somewhere in a bag or in your vehicle. On a related note, each device is made from smooth plastic without many lumpy, bumpy buttons or other controls, so it'll feel smooth against your skin or clothing, too.

  • Three Fan Speeds

Once you turn on your Arctic Air Freedom, you'll be able to cycle through three different fan speeds, including low, medium, and high. On an incredibly hot day, you might select the highest speed for a larger rush of air, but you may find the lowest fan speed more suitable on a day that's simply warm. In order to cycle through the three available settings, you'll need to press the power button multiple times until you arrive at one you like.

  • For Indoor and Outdoor Use

Many people might decide to use this device outdoors, as it may come in handy for cooling purposes in the backyard, on the beach, or in the park. However, it'll make a great substitute for a bulky air conditioner inside your residence, if you live in a small dwelling or spend a lot of time in one or two rooms. You might also want to use one of these devices at the office if you want to cool yourself without affecting the temperature of those around you.

  • Purifies Air

The Arctic Air Freedom device will purify the air that's circulating directly around you as it cools it, which means that it'll remove a great deal of dirt and bacteria from the air. Consequently, you may be able to breathe better after you've turned it on, and it may help you avoid contracting a bacterial infection.

  • Cordless

As with a cordless landline phone, you won't be limited to one space while you use this device, since you won't have to plug it into an electrical outlet.

Positive Points

  • Promotes Productivity

Typically, if you get too hot while you're working, no matter where you are, you'll eventually start to get tired and become less productive. Fortunately, when that happens, an Arctic Air Freedom cooling device can help you out, so you can keep working at an efficient pace. Just turn it on and hang it around your neck, and you may be able to keep doing tough physical work for hours longer than you'd otherwise be able to. Its cooling air may also give you the mental clarity you need to perform complex mental tasks in front of a computer.

  • No Water Required

People often try to cool themselves down by wetting themselves with a garden hose or by drinking multiple glasses of water. The former solution can leave you soaking wet, though, while the latter can lead you to make multiple trips to the bathroom in a short period of time. On the other hand, your Arctic Air Freedom device will cool you down without requiring you to use any water source, so you'll stay dry and you won't always be looking for an available toilet.

Negative Points

  • Won't Cool Large Area

This cooling device will cool the area immediately surrounding someone who is wearing it, but if you're looking for a device that'll cool multiple rooms, this isn't the best one for you. Instead, you should be looking for a larger air conditioner, portable air cooler, or fan that has been designed to cool a large number of square feet.

  • USB Port Required

These days, most people have access to a USB port through a laptop or personal computer, but there are still some people who don't have unlimited access to a port. If that description applies to you, you won't be able to recharge this device on a regular basis. Moreover, it appears that even if you are able to use a USB port whenever you want to, you'll need to obtain your own cable to connect this device to it.

Save Money

If you don't have central air in your home, you could opt to obtain a bunch of small fans or personal space coolers and place one in every room. A better alternative might be to obtain one Arctic Air Freedom device, though, and have it travel from room to room with you. You could even wear one of these devices in your car and avoid wasting the gas that you might otherwise use to run the car's air conditioner.

Not Cool

It does not cool air just blows hot air if air is hot. Tried it for golf in a cart and the breeze was cooler than the arctic air device. $30.00 down the drain.

What a Joke

The info says it turns hot air into cold. That is not true. It only blows cool air if your in a cool area, if your trying to use it outside or where it is warm, that's what it will blow, warm or even hot air. It also claims the charge lasts up to 6 hrs, I tried 2 days and both times it only lasted 3-3 1/2 hrs. It's a rip off and will be returning to get my money back. I found a little fan that hangs around my neck by a string I only paid $9, and not only did it work for over 11 hrs before it died, but when out in the heat, it blows cool(not as cool as it does in a cool place) but it doesn't just blow warm air like the artic air freedom. Don't waste your money.

You may be a hit but you know as well as I do, it only blows cool air if you are in a cool place. If you are in a warm place, it blows warm air. Don't lie, causing people to waste their money and time.
