Aquasana is the ultimate water filter that will make you look great while treating your body to water that is clean. This product boasts a better filtration than the leading competition, such as Brita. Brita drips slowly and takes forever to fill up, but Aquasana's Claryum filtration technology fills in no time and cleans water better up to ten times more. It works hard to remove pesticides, chemicals, and other contaminants that may be in your water, but it also keeps in the good minerals. Changing the filter doesn't take long at all, and it can last you up to six months.

The Claim

The infomercial saleswoman claims that her secret to looking good is Aquasana. Aquasana is a water filtration system that claims to be better than other brands such as Brita for a multitude of reasons. One is because Brita apparently drips water slowly, taking it a while to fill up, while Aquasana fills it fast. Its secret is said to be the Claryum filtration technology that filters water through a multi step process. This removes many chemicals that contaminate water, and leaves it 10 times clearer than competition. Also, a person claims they only needed to change their filter every six months,.

Total Cost Breakdown

The cost of Aquasana is $39.99 plus $19.99 shipping, for a total price of $59.98.

This price was obtained from the As Seen on TV commercial page which was taken offline due to Aquasana being discontinued. Aquasana may still be found for sale on Amazon or Ebay.

How It Works

Aquasana is a filtered water system that comes in both dispenser and pitcher form. With the first option, you can dispense your water right from your countertop, while with the second option, you can pour it from a pitcher in your fridge. This system uses exclusive Claryum technology, a multi-step filtration process that enables Aquasana to reduce the amount of 60 different contaminants commonly found in water. These include chlorine ( of which it reduces more than 96 percent ) lead, mercury, and asbestos. You can start using the product right when you get it, as there’s no complicated installation process required.

Positive Points

  • Works Quickly
  • The Claryum technology, which differs from the technology used within other filtered water dispensers, makes the Aquasana system produce clean water much more quickly.

  • Long Lasting Filters
  • Aquasana’s filters will last up to eight times the duration that those of the leading competitor last, meaning you won’t have to pay for replacements as often.

  • Preserves Minerals
  • As the Aquasana filtration system removes harmful substances from your water, it leaves the minerals that are actually good for you within it.

  • Offers Health Benefits
  • Drinking filtered water offers some major health benefits to anyone. For instance, it filters out toxins within the body, improves one’s complexion, boosts the immune system, and helps you lose weight.

  • Comes In Black Or White
  • The pitcher version of Aquasana comes in black or white. Users who tend to have dirty hands when they go to get water may prefer black, since it won’t show the dirt.

  • Endorsed By Denise Austin
  • Denise Austin, a fitness instructor from the United States, endorses the product and outlines its health benefits.

Negative Points

  • Pitcher and Dispenser Separate
  • If you want to have the ability to use your Aquasana system as a pitcher and dispenser in one, you’re out of luck. You’ll need to order two separate systems. It would be beneficial if the two uses were interchangeable within one system, even if it were to cost more.

How it’s Different from Competitors

Most filtered water dispensers use the force of gravity to enable the water to slowly drip overtop of carbon granules. This process does not work super-quickly like the multi-filter process used to filter water through an Aquasana system. Therefore, with other devices, it takes much longer to build up the same amount of water. Furthermore, other filtering devices do not reduce as many contaminants, in comparison with Aquasana.

On the infomercial, a user says that she only needs to replace her Aquasana filter every six months. She adds that when she was using her old filtered water dispenser, she had to replace her filter much more often than that.

Save Money

Many people buy bottled water or have it delivered since their tap water is bad-tasting or unsafe to drink. If you’re currently one of those people, you can save a lot of money by investing in an Aquasana system. After you pay for it once, you’ll just need to buy the occasional filter, instead of paying every time you need more water to drink or use. Plus, it tastes good like bottled or delivered water does, and is just as clean.

Aqusana Water Filter Bottles Are Difficult

When using the water filter bottle it doesn't matter how hard I suck on it; I barely get more than a drop. Meanwhile, my neck and chest get drenched. Their customer service did nothing to help. They just email me ads multiple times a day.
