How to Use (Step by Step)

  1. Connect to Water Source

In the same way that you would with a standard garden hose, you'll have to connect your Aqua Joe Hose to a water source in order to use it.

  2. Turn on Water Source

Once your hose has been connected to a source of water, turn that source on and let water flow through your hose. You'll notice that the hose looks very slim to start with, but as it fills with water, it'll expand a bit.

  3. Use Hose for Various Tasks

With water flowing through your hose, you should be able to move the hose smoothly around your yard or property and use it to complete a variety of essential tasks. These tasks might include watering your shrubs, washing your car, or giving pieces of lawn furniture a rinse-off. If you think its spray is too powerful for your most delicate flowers and plants to handle, you could even use it to fill a watering can that can then give those plants a drink.

  4. Turn Off Source and Store

When you're done using your hose, remember to turn off its water source. Following that, you'll be able to coil the hose up in a fairly small circle, in relation to its full length, and store it on a hook of your choice. You'll also notice that the hose appears even slimmer than it does otherwise, once there isn't any water in it.

Features

  • Gray and Turquoise

Each Aqua Joe Hose has a gray body, and its aluminum connectors are covered with turquoise blue rubber. Since most garden hoses are green, if you have more than one hose on your property, you'll be able to quickly discern which one is the Aqua Joe. Plus, the gray body won't show dirt as easily as outer shells made of bright green plastic typically do.

  • Lightweight

Due to their dual-layer design, these hoses can be up to 50 percent lighter in weight than standard green garden hoses made from thick rubber. As a result, you likely won't have trouble moving your hose from place to place, even if you're a youth or a senior, or you simply lack physical strength. However, the lightness of this hose doesn't mean it's not durable. While an ordinary garden hose will often burst at a pressure level of 200 Psi, this type can withstand pressure levels up to 600 Psi.

  • Non-Slip Rubber Grips

The turquoise rubber that you'll find on the ends of each hose has been designed to stop your hands from slipping as you hang onto it. Therefore, you'll be unlikely to drop your hose as you pull it around or use it to water or wash things.

  • Aluminum Connectors

Each Aqua Joe Hose has aluminum connectors, as opposed to plastic ones, which can make a hose less likely to kink or tangle than it otherwise would be. Furthermore, aluminum connectors may last for years without breaking, while plastic ones could break within a few weeks or months.

  • Weather and Mildew Resistant

This particular hose's materials and design are resistant to the type of damage that adverse weather conditions and mildew can cause. More specifically, your hose will be unlikely to overheat when it's excessively hot out, and water will continue to flow through it at a temperature as low as 0 degrees Fahrenheit. As for mildew, your hose will never get covered in the greasy slime that a buildup of mildew can create.

Positive Points

  • Won't Damage Surfaces

Your Aqua Joe Hose will also be resistant to rips and abrasion, so it won't damage delicate surfaces or end up getting damaged itself as it glides across them. Consequently, you can feel comfortable sliding it across painted surfaces, such as the exterior of a car or boat, or even bricks or stucco without worrying about an iota of damage being done.

  • Three Lengths Available

Aside from the 25-foot length that many users might choose, this hose comes in lengths of 50 and 100 feet, too. Those users with a larger property than average, or a water source that's quite far from most of the yard, may find a longer hose to be preferable.

  • Emits Safe Drinking Water

If you like to drink from your garden hose (or have someone else in your household who does), it'll be safe for you to drink from this one. The materials used to make it are completely free of the potentially harmful chemical compound known as BPA, which is sometimes found in plastic products, along with lead and phthalates. For that reason, you won't have to be concerned about exposing yourself to toxicity by drinking from this type of hose.

  • Can Obtain Fireman's Nozzle

Users who want to do some power-washing can opt to obtain a fireman's nozzle and replace the ordinary nozzle on an Aqua Joe Hose with that one. Once you've made the swap, you may find that heavy-duty jobs, such as washing the siding of your house, can proceed more quickly and efficiently.

Critical Advice

Some users might already have a large, durable hook to hang their hose from, but if you don't, you'll be able to get a stand for your hose made by Aqua Joe. The stand's base can be placed on virtually any flat surface, indoors or out, and each one contains two hooks for you to hang your coiled hose from.

Save Time

Completing all your watering work with a standard green rubber hose might take hours if you have to put tons of physical effort into dragging the hose along and make frequent stops to eliminate kinks. When you're finished, wrestling your hose back into a coiled circle without tangling it may then take up more than several minutes of your morning or afternoon. On the other hand, if you get an Aqua Joe Hose to help you complete these chores in your yard and garden, you may be able to finish them up to two times as quickly. This lightweight, kink-resistant, and tangle-resistant hose can be moved around much more rapidly than an ordinary rubber hose can, and coiling it up at the end may take as little as 30 seconds.
