Aqua Dog is a water bottle for dogs that consists of a squeezable water holder and a small bowl attached to the top of it, which a dog won't have trouble drinking from. It can be used by all dogs—large, small, young, or old—at the dog park, on long walks, in the car, or virtually anywhere else you choose to go with your pup. It'll keep dogs well-hydrated at all times, but will be especially handy on the hottest summer days.

Total Cost Breakdown

The cost of Aqua Dog is $12.99 plus $6.99 shipping. The special TV offer allows you to receive a second Aqua Dog by paying an extra fee of $6.99 for a total price of $26.97.

How to Use (Step by Step)

  1. Fill Holder With Water

Fill the water holder, which is the blue part of the device, with cool water in the same way you would a standard water bottle. Keep the black, funnel-like top of the device, which your dog will eventually use as a bowl, empty for the time being.

  2. Squeeze Bottle

When your dog gets thirsty, squeeze the blue part of your bottle in order to fill its black top up with water. Then, your dog will easily be able to drink from the top as if it's a bowl. Remember to keep squeezing the bottle until your dog is done having his or her drink.

  3. Release

Once your dog no longer wants any more water, stop squeezing your bottle in order to release any pressure put on it. You'll then see that any excess water left in the top bowl will drain back into the water holder so your dog can drink it later.

How It Works

Each Aqua Dog contains an extraction rod that extends all the way from the edge of the top bowl to the bottom of the water holder. The rod extracts water from the holder or drains water back into it based on whether you're squeezing the bottle or releasing your hold on it. Due to the rod's full extension, no drop of water in your bottle will ever be wasted.

  • Black and Blue

This bottle comes in an attractive, striking color combination of black and blue, and each has an Aqua Dog logo in its middle. The logo will enable you to quickly tell which water bottle is the dog's and which bottle or bottles belong to any humans who are around.

  • Portable

Each bottle is about the size of a standard travel mug, so almost all dog owners will be able to carry it without difficulty. This bottle is also the right shape and size to fit into the cup holders in most vehicles, so you won't need to worry about it tipping over in your car.

  • Comes With Strap

To give you even more carrying options, the Aqua Dog comes with a strap that can be used as either a waist belt or a wrist loop while you're walking. If you've got a dog who likes to fetch, they may even use the strap to pick the bottle up and bring it to you in their mouth.

Positive Points

  • Keeps Dogs Hydrated

This water bottle will keep all dogs hydrated in virtually all situations, so they'll be able to continue to enjoy a walk, a car ride, outdoor playtime, or another activity without feeling sick.

  • Unlikely to Make Mess

If a dog attempts to use another drinking apparatus, such as a human's water bottle or a portable bowl on its own, they may splatter water everywhere, including all over you. Fortunately, the Aqua Dog will enable them to drink tidily from a small bowl while still getting enough water ( if they empty the bowl, simply squeeze your bottle again to refill it ).

  • Could be Used by Cats

While cats often don't stay outside for extended periods of time like dogs do, cats will be able to drink from the Aqua Dog just as a dog does when they need some water. If you like to walk your cat on a lead, you may choose to get one for them along with one for your pooch.

Negative Points

  • All Look the Same

All Aqua Dog water bottles look exactly the same, which could be a problem if you have more than one pet and each has their own bottle. You may need to add some identifying features, such as stickers, to them if you want to be able to tell them apart.

  • Human's Water Bottle

You might think that your dog will be able to have a sip of your water if he or she is thirsty. However, a lot of dogs have difficulty getting a good drink from the fairly small hole at the top of a human's water bottle. The Aqua Dog's attached bowl will give them a larger area in which they can place their mouth for a slurp.

  • Portable Dog Dish

Some people choose to bring a dog dish from home to fill with water for their dog, but you'll need to use some of your own water to fill it, and this could get messy. Even if you don't spill anything while you fill it, the dish could easily spill while you're walking or driving along.

  • Garden Hose

Dogs often enjoy drinking out of garden hoses, but these aren't available everywhere, so any dog should have another source of hydration such as the Aqua Dog.

Bunch of Dog Manure

Better of looping a cup with a handle through your belt and sharing your water with the dog. Talk about a ripoff!

What a Ripoff!

We have arthritis in our hands and could not possibly squeeze the bottle as long as is required to water our little Maltipoo, Riley. Spoke to some foreigner-born customer service agent which was a joke. At least we got a couple of laughs from the process. But, we are out the $20 we paid for the piece of crap.
