Angel View is a snap-on rearview mirror with a convex shape that's been engineered to give drivers a panoramic view encompassing both of their blind spots. Each of these mirrors will fit over almost any existing rearview mirror, and at 12 inches wide, each one is wider than most standard rearview mirrors found in cars and SUVs. Furthermore, it's specified that each mirror is covered with a unique coating designed to block streetlight and headlight glare from affecting your vision when you drive at night.

Total Cost Breakdown

The cost of Angel View is $19.99 plus $7.99 shipping for a total price of $27.98.

Price is from As Seen on TV Commercial page:

How to Use (Step by Step)

  1. Attach To Rearview Mirror

To get started with your Angel View mirror, you'll have to attach it to your existing rearview mirror. The brackets at the top and bottom will allow you to snap it on over that mirror quickly, and the spring-loaded feet at the bottom will help the new mirror grip your old one tightly. Once you've installed your new mirror correctly, it should resemble an angel's wings, with its slightly longer edge at the top.

  2. Drive Normally

When you're ready to drive, give your new rearview mirror a jiggle to make sure it's securely attached, and then start driving as you normally would. You should notice that you can see much more behind you, both straight behind you and to the sides, than you usually can. While you may still want to check your blind spots, you shouldn't have to stare at them for as long as you would without this sort of panoramic mirror in your vehicle.

  3. Remove Mirror (optional)

If you ever want to remove this mirror from the vehicle that it's in and store it away or put it in another vehicle, the process is quick. When you gently pull it off your original mirror, the spring-loaded feet at the bottom of the new mirror will move to allow you to do so without damaging the standard mirror underneath. Following that, you can install it in another vehicle in seconds, if needed.

How It Works

Using this mirror will make your driving safer, due to the mirror's length and curved glass. The length and the convex shape will give you a clear, 160-degree view when you look behind you, which will help prevent you from getting into accidents or hitting obstacles. While some curved mirrors can have a fish-eye effect, distorting objects that they show you so you can't perceive them with complete clarity, this type of mirror won't cause this problem. Therefore, you'll see virtually any obstacle at its proper shape and size, which will increase the likelihood that you can avoid it.

  • For Various Vehicles

An Angel View mirror will fit over the original rearview mirror in almost any car or SUV. Since many trucks and vans have standard-sized rearview mirrors, you'll probably be able to use your new mirror in the same way in those vehicles. Those users with multiple vehicles may opt to transfer one mirror among the group, depending on which vehicle they're driving on a particular day. Each mirror's rubber feet will enable it to adjust to fit over original mirrors that vary a bit in shape and size.

  • Glare-Resistant Coating

Most standard rearview mirrors won't come with glare-resistant coating, but the Angel View mirror does. This coating will stop glare from headlights or streetlights from affecting what you see in front of or behind you as you drive at nighttime. Although it's been included with nighttime driving in mind, the glare-resistant coating may also help you see better as you drive on a very sunny day. The help you get from this coating means less eye strain and more safety for you each time you go out in your vehicle.

  • Sleek Design

Every one of these mirrors is black and resembles an angel's wings in its shape, which makes each one look sophisticated in a variety of vehicles. Since the interior of most vehicles is either black or gray, you'll likely find that your new mirror matches the interior of your car, SUV, or alternative vehicle quite nicely. The three slits on each side of each mirror that are meant to make each side look winglike are an attractive touch, too.

Positive Points

  • Good For New Drivers

Installing an Angel View mirror is a good choice for a novice driver of any age who may forget to check their blind spots by turning around on occasion. With one of these mirrors, a novice driver should be able to see both blind spots behind them at all times, by taking a quick glance forward and upward at the mirror. As a result, forgetting to check either blind spot in a traditional way shouldn't result in an accident.

  • Helpful For Seniors At Night

Many seniors still want to drive at night, but as they progress in age, seniors can have more difficulty seeing at night, even while wearing prescription glasses. Fortunately, the Angel View mirror's glare-resistant coating can enhance a senior's night vision so that they may be able to drive safely at night for many more years than they otherwise would. Seniors may find the glare-resistant coating especially helpful on highways and busy commercial roads with lots of streetlights and vehicles with their headlights turned on.

  • Useful For Parents

Parents with multiple children in the car might find this type of mirror useful for a slightly different reason. If you're a parent who hears random screaming, scuffling, or other noises coming from the backseat, you can take a quick look in your mirror and see exactly what the kids back there are doing. This could help you notice that a child is hurt more quickly than usual or help you quickly discipline the kids so they don't end up driving you to distraction.

Critical Advice

Once you've decided to install one of these mirrors in your vehicle, do not, under any circumstances, remove the original rearview mirror from the vehicle. If you do that, you won't have anything to securely attach the new mirror to. Along the same lines, the new mirror must always be attached to the original one and not hung up in any other way. If you were to attempt to install it by using duct tape, glue, or any other materials, it might end up falling down in a dangerous and distracting manner while you're driving.

Tips & Tricks

  1. Wipe Clean

Whenever your mirror gets so dirty that you feel like you can't see out of it properly, wipe it clean with a damp cloth, soaked with water only. Don't use any other cleaning ingredients on it, as they might interfere with the glare-resistant coating's performance.

  2. Use Stem To Adjust

If you ever need to adjust the angle of your Angel View mirror, don't pull directly on the mirror, or it might accidentally come down. Instead, use your original rearview mirror and its stem to make any adjustments up, down, or to either side.

Angel View Rear View Mirror

Impossible to work for most cars and subs, because the seats block most views. If you look closely at the commercial, you only see the rear bench or no seats visible. Then they fool you with the off-angle view to show everyone. Wouldn't attempt to buy something that won't work on any vehicle above 1990.

Doesn't fit my Cars

Good idea, poor execution. The clips would not fit the bottom of my mirrors on Porsche Cayenne and Infiniti M35. If you buy from Bulbhead you have to pay the shipping to return, even though they never say which cars this will fit. Ripped off!

It’s a scam. The mirror does not do any better than a regular mirror. You got exactly the same blind spots as the mirror that came with the car. Don’t buy this mirror. These are scam artists. They should be put in jail.

I own an SUV SRX 2011 Cadillac and the clips do not fix my mirror. And today’s car mirrors are totally different. This mirror is designed for older models of cars. To me, it’s a scam.
