Features

  • Flat Wooden Design

Allows you to reach into corners and places that are hard to get to. A good tool for separating avocados. The design is perfect for icing a cake.

  • Four-Piece Set

Use the small and mini sizes for completing smaller jobs. The mini serves as an excellent butter knife. The larger pieces can be used for cooking and serving.

  • Heat-Safe up to 400 Degrees

The tools are completely heat-safe, meaning you can cook with them without having to be concerned that they will get too hot or be damaged by the heat.

  • Doesn`t Scratch Tupperware

Fry an egg, sautee some vegetables. Whatever you're cooking, these tools will not damage your pans.

  • All-in-One Tools

This multi-functional set is capable of carrying out every kitchen task, functioning as a spatula, a mixing spoon, a knife, a serving spoon, and a whisk.

Pros

  • De-Clutter Your Kitchen

The manufacturer states that with this set, you can throw away all the other utensils in your kitchen. The Amish Spurtle is reported to be a complete all-in-one set of kitchen tools. It can carry out every function you would need when you're cooking.

  • All-Natural Acacia Wood

High-Quality Acacia wood is used in the design of this product. The wood will not scratch pans or Tupperware, so it won't ruin your pans and other kitchenware. The spurtles are quite heat resistant, so you don't have to worry about them melting and getting damaged.

  • Get a Free Sliding Spurtle

Right at this moment, the manufacturer is offering a deal whereby you can get the sliding spurtle for free. If you are thinking of purchasing a set anyways, this might be a good time to do so.

  • Easy to Clean - Just a Swipe

The flat design makes these spurtles very easy to clean off. All you have to do is swipe the tool along the side of a bowl or plate or something similar, and it's clean.

  • Reach `Hard to Get To` Places

The unique design of the spurtles allows them to get into spots that are hard to get to. If you want to get that last little bit of mayonnaise or peanut butter in the jar, the spurtle may be useful. The mini spurtle, in particular, can reach almost anywhere.

Cons

  • Only Available Online

The Amish Spurtle can only be purchased online, at the official manufacturer's website. It is not for sale in any retail outlets.

  • Design Not Ideal for Serving

The design is not useful for every circumstance, like for serving food onto people's plates. It's too easy for the food to fall off the utensil and make a mess.

  • Is Not A Soup Spoon

The Mini spurtle is incredibly useful for getting that last little bit out of a can, or for getting into really skinny jars. It really helps you not to be wasteful. Due to its small size and sleek design, it really can get into any corner.

  • Plain Looking Design

It's not a particularly attractive design. The spurtles really are very plain looking, and that could be improved upon. It would make the product much more attractive to customers.

Issues

  • Is it Multi-functional?

It's possible that the manufacturers are stretching the truth slightly about how all-in-one these spurtles really are in the kitchen. Granted, they do look very useful, but a flat utensil is not ideal in every situation. It is a poor serving spoon, for example, due to its design. There would be food falling off the utensil and onto the floor, and this would get to be inconvenient. So, they are useful tools, but don't throw out the rest of your kitchen just yet.

How It Works

The Amish Spurtle is a set of four kitchen tools which serve a number of different functions in the kitchen. The key point about these tools is that they are flat. They can be used as a spatula, and then turned to the side to be used as a knife. Then they can be used to mix, replacing a large spoon, or even as a whisk. Laid flat they can also be used to serve food.

Save Money

You can get one of the pieces in the set, the sliding spurtle, for free if you order the entire set right now. The set is priced very low at the moment on the official website because the manufacturer is offering a deal. More importantly, the set is so multi-functional that you won't have to purchase much more in the way of utensils.

Tips & Tricks

  1. Separate an Egg

If you want to separate the while from the yolk, put the Sliding Spurtle across the top of the bowl, and crack the egg over it. The yolk will stay on top and the white will drop down into the bowl.

  2. With One Utensil

Cut the cake by turning one of the spurtles to the side and using it to cut the cake into slices. Now turn it flat and serve everyone cake. Then you can use it as a serving spoon for the ice cream, and then to serve the ice cream.

  3. Use it as a Strainer

Let's say you're boiling something on the stove and you want to strain out the water in the sink without the food dropping all over the place. Use the Sliding Strainer.

  4. Mini Spurtle Gets Into Corners

The Mini spurtle is incredibly useful for getting that last little bit out of the jar, or for getting into really skinny jars. It really helps you not to be wasteful. Due to its small size and sleek design, it really can get into any corner.

Is This a Good Product?

The Amish Spurtle is an interesting item, which would have many uses for the consumer who likes to spend a lot of time in the kitchen. It's very reasonably priced, so there's not much lost if you want to try it out. As stated previously, you shouldn't get rid of the entirety of your kitchen yet. There are jobs where other kitchen tools would probably be more helpful. On the whole, the manufacturer has presented a very useful product which would interest a number of people. The design of the product, however, is really very bland. It doesn't have to be something wild, but a more sophisticated look would really improve the appearance of the item overall.

Wise Advice

Do not buy Amish Spurtle online before searching Amazon.

Won't Buy

I will not buy it now. If folks aren't getting their products I don't want it. I know there is problems with the Coronavirus. But 4 weeks for products to come. Some folks don't like them. Nah I'll pass, nevermind. I really wanted them, they looked nice to have. Glad to see reviews, helps make a wise Decision.

Cross-contamination in TV Commercial

The woman on the commercial scrapes raw vegetables from the cutting board into a pan. Then she uses the same utensil to scoop mayonnaise from a large multi-use jar of mayonnaise. Classic cross-contamination practice potentially resulting in foodborne illness. The inoculated mayo will sit in the fridge and slowly grow the pathogen for the next user of the jar. Use a clean utensil each time one scoop from a multi-use container. (I cringed when I saw it).

Bad Business

Desperately trying to get my order. Tried all 3 numbers and on hold for 6 minutes and then the system hung up. All 3 numbers exact message and voice and hang up at exactly 6 minutes. Each e-mail same nonsense and my account charged 3 minutes after the order placed. Where is my order? Phyllis Desimone.

Wow bad Reviews

I won’t buy. Thanks for the heads up. A piece of wood cutting a cake? Separating eggs? No different than any other slotted spoon?

Thankya Bje, thankya verra much. Tired of haters, complainers, bitchers and complainers, pissers and moaners ( did I miss anyone?). Are we having fun yet? I am gonna go by your assessment and get me a set of these things. If I've learned nothing else in this life, the Amish make some damn fine things. So what if they're made in China - the Amish designed 'em, amirite? Gotta go order now, thankya once again.
