Air-o-Fil is an electric pump that's meant to help users pump up or deflate virtually any inflatable object in 30 seconds or less. This compact pump comes with both a wall adapter and a car adapter, so users can power it up while at home or on the road. Each one also comes with four vacuum-sealable storage bags that you may find useful in any closet, or in your suitcase when you're traveling. If you use your pump to deflate the bags as much as possible, you may be able to save yourself some space.

How to Use (Step by Step)

  1. Plug Pump Into Electricity

Before you can use your Air-o-Fil pump, it's necessary that you plug it into a standard electrical outlet by using the wall adapter, or into your car's cigarette socket by using the appropriate adapter.

  2. Insert Nozzle in Chosen Item

Next, once your electric pump is plugged in, insert its black, pointy nozzle into an inflatable item, such as an athletic ball, an inflatable pool toy, or an air mattress. Be sure to use the appropriate hole included within the item to do so, instead of just trying to stick the nozzle in anywhere.

  3. Turn on Device and Wait

With your pump inserted in an inflatable item, use the white power switch to turn the pump on and wait for about 30 seconds. As you wait out those 30 seconds, the pump should fully inflate the item its nozzle has been inserted into.

  4. Remove Pump

When the inflatable you've been pumping up has been fully inflated, flick your pump's power switch to the off position. Remove your pump's nozzle from the hole you inserted it in and close off that opening so air won't leak out. Usually, this will involve putting a cap or a lid back onto the inflatable item so that it covers the opening. After that's done, you'll be able to use your inflatable item as you normally would.

Features

  • Works With All Inflatables

While a bicycle pump will often only work with a bike, and the pump that comes with a paddleboard may only work with that inflatable board, Air-o-Fil's compatible with inflatables of all types. If you've got multiple pumps for different balls and various pieces of camping or sports equipment, you may be able to get rid of those and use this electric pump to inflate them all. Plus, whenever you get a new inflatable, you can assume that this pump will be able to inflate it quickly and properly, without having compatibility issues due to the item's size or shape.

  • For Indoor and Outdoor Use

This electric pump has been designed for both indoor and outdoor use, so it's an ideal choice when you're taking a trip to a park, a beach, or a campsite. Although you should do your best to keep it out of adverse weather conditions, such as rain, snow, and excessive heat, it should be able to withstand some exposure to those conditions without getting damaged.

  • Lightweight and Compact

Since this pump is powerful, you may be imagining that it comes in a large size, but it actually won't take up more than a foot of space (if that) in any location. Therefore, transporting it in your vehicle or storing it in your home doesn't mean that you'll crowd up the space you may require for other important items. The pump is also lightweight enough that the vast majority of users will be able to carry it around from place to place in one hand.

  • Deflates Items

Aside from inflating items, the Air-o-Fil will also deflate them. To deflate an inflated object, simply transfer the nozzle of the pump from the pump's top to the bottom. Turn on the pump in the same way as you normally would, and it'll deflate the object in about 30 seconds. Remove the nozzle in the same way as usual when the deflating is done.

Positive Points

  • No Manual Labor Required

The alternatives to using an electric pump like this to pump up inflatable objects are blowing into them with your mouth or using a hand pump. It almost goes without saying that blowing into them with your mouth is a slow process, and will tire your jaw. Similarly, pumping inflatables up with a hand pump may be a quicker way to do so, but your arms and back could become incredibly tired. Fortunately, if you use an Air-o-Fil, no tiring manual labor is required at all, as the pump's electricity will do all the work.

  • Comes With Four Bags

Each one of these electric pumps comes with four vacuum-sealable plastic bags, and if you get a set of two pumps, you'll get eight of these bags. These bags are great aids to use when you want to keep clothing in good condition in your closet or suitcase. Moreover, if you suck as much air out of them as possible by using your pump's deflating function, you'll ensure that your clothes take up as little space as possible.

  • Ideal for Parties

If you're having a pool or beach party, and you've got about a dozen inflatable pool toys to pump up and some impatient kids staring at you, this pump will come in handy. The toys will be ready to go in a few minutes, maximum, especially if you've got two electric air pumps and a couple of adults to keep turning them off and on. Along the same lines, when the fun is done, you'll be able to deflate all the pool toys for storage purposes just as quickly as you pumped them up.

Negative Points

  • Electricity Always Needed

Without access to electricity through your vehicle or a wall outlet, this type of pump won't work properly. In fact, if you were to try to use it as a hand pump, without plugging it in, it probably wouldn't do anything at all. As a result, the pump will be rendered useless if the power is out at your home, or you're away from home without a vehicle as a power source. If you were to plug this pump's car adapter into your vehicle frequently, this might result in your car's battery being drained more quickly than usual, too.

Critical Advice

For optimum results, a user must keep hanging onto their Air-o-Fil pump after flicking on the power switch. Ideally, while it's inflating an object, you should keep one hand on the object and the other (preferably, your dominant one) on the pump's body. This will help the pump inflate the object as quickly as possible, without either the object or the pump itself falling over and thereby becoming less efficient.

Save Time

A lot of other pumps will inflate objects efficiently, but they won't deflate them, and you may have to waste many minutes lying on an object or even stomping on it to deflate it. That whole step can be skipped once you've got an Air-o-Fil pump, though, as this 30-second inflator is also a 30-second deflator.
