You can use the unit inside or outside.
- One Hour of Work

- Good for Arthritis
This particular unit is great for people who have arthritis or have difficulty bending over.
- Lots of Extensions
When you invest in either the regular or the professional kit you get a scrubber, different brush heads, and an extension arm.
- Safe Cleaning
The turbo scrub has a dome brush which lets you clean and scrub without having to bend over and do it manually. Their battery alleviates the need for any cords or wires while you were cleaning which makes it much safer to use in areas where water is involved, such as the shower or the bathtub. You can use it in your kitchen without having to find a free outlet.
- Different Brushes
The dome brush is the main brush and it is perfect for almost all cleaning needs. Most of the cleaning tasks you have such a scrubbing clean up bathtub, floors, counter tops, shower, or even tile, can be done with the regular dome brush. However the unit also comes with a flat brush and a cone shaped brushes that you can reach and all of the different corners of your home. They also let you get any flat surface that might be a difficult angle to reach with another brush.
- Has Extensions
The extension one that comes with the turbo scrub or allows you to reach hard to reach places such as the tops of your crown molding or corners behind the toilet or counter. This extends the functionality of the cleaners. In some cases where you might have to press sideways to clean the side of the bathtub you can use the extension wand instead so that you require less leverage. The extension wand makes it easy to hold and easy to use.
- Good for the Cost
The turbo scrubber is a very solid tool and if your expectations are reasonable you will find that it will perform just as effectively as it should, given the cost.
- Not All Stains
The unit is very effective on normal cleaning but some of the tougher areas won't be cleaned with a simple press of your hand. You might still have to put some power into pushing the extension brush to give it that little extra power.
- Less Stability
The extension handle can make the units seem less stable especially if you're reaching higher places. So if you don't have to apply additional pressure yourself and can rely only on the rotational power of the turbo scrubber, this is not a problem. However, if you need to put a little extra something into it, this can be problematic.
- Might Need Cleaners
Certain types of stains or dirt might not come up with just water and a powerful scrubber. Even though the unit states that you don't have to use abrasive cleaners, in some situations some of the harder stains like rust or calcium buildup might actually require a cleaner. At the very least one that sits on the stain for 10 to 15 minutes beforehand and then is washed away with the scrubber.
- Doesn't Last Long
The Turbo scrubber only lasts just over 40 minutes per charge which is affected by how strong and hard you press the head of the turbo scrubber on the surface. If you are cleaning a very difficult staining you’re pressing really hard it obviously takes more power. The more power you use, the shorter lifespan of the battery in between charges.
This can be a serious downside if you are trying to use the turbo scrubber for comprehensive cleaning because it will force you to take a break in between cleaning every hour to recharge. As such, it makes it especially difficult if you're trying to use the scrubber for professional reasons.
There are two similar scrubbers which are advertised on the market today. The first is called a hurricane spin scrubber. This has a similar design to the turbo scrubber and it is meant to work as a powerless spinning scrubber that does the majority of the work for you. It too has the same number of scrubs or rotations per minute and can be used indoors or outdoors.
Said unit comes with different scrubbing heads and an extension brush but it doesn't have a flat head. This unit has bristles that fit into smaller cracks and crevices and when you use it, it will run for about the same amount of time. However, charging it the first time takes 20 hours and then after each hour of cleaning you have to charge it again for eight hours.
- Tub n Tile
The other alternative is the tub and tile power scrubber which is somewhat similar in its design because it rotates and uses a rechargeable battery. Threi head is waterproof and it has a much larger scrubbing area because the scrubbing head is much bigger. However, it does not have alternative scrubbing heads.
- Recharge Time
The turbo scrubber does not tell you how long you have to recharge the unit after you have used it. It simply tells you that it will last for about one hour per charge. However, alternative scrubbers require a full eight hours before they can be used again. If this is the case then you will not be able to use the scrubber regularly for big projects but should instead use it for just an hour at a time for short projects.

Turbo Scrub Pro
Just received this as a gift. Because of bad knees and bad hips it has always been a struggle for me to clean low areas. I used it to clean my tub and lived it. I did use kaboom cleaner with it because I've not been able to clean it very well. The ease of use was terrific. 3 heads included. The extended handle is a big big plus for me. Since my gift had 2 in it, one will be for my baths and the other for kitchen areas and such. I have tile thru out my house so now clean a spill will be very easy. I'll be getting this for my mom too.
