Pros

  • Comes In 3 Colors
  • Tuff Glove is not only the safest way to handle hot pans, plates and food – it also comes in 3 color varieties. You can have Tuff Glove in red, white, or blue. If you’re feeling patriotic, you can get all three and hang them to resemble the American flag.

  • Machine Washable
  • Handling food with your gloves is bound to make them dirty. Tuff Glove makes cleaning this product a snap by allowing you to place them in the washing machine. This means you will always have clean gloves to work with in the kitchen with little effort.

Cons

  • One Size Fits Most
  • If your hands are on the large side, you may have a problem fitting into these gloves. On the other hand, if you have very small hands, these gloves are likely to feel very bulky and uncomfortable to you. Additionally, smaller hands means that you might struggle even keeping these gloves on your hands while handling food. This can be dangerous and a bad option for you if your glove choices tend to be on either extremes.

  • Habit Forming
  • Normally, people do not grab their food on the grill with their hands to turn it. However, Tuff Glove allows you to do this. If you become used to grabbing food, hot pans and trays with Tuff Glove, this might lead you to one day accidentally grab these things without your Tuff Glove on.

Features

  • Ultra High Tech Fibers
  • Tuff Glove has built in ultra high tech fibers that allow you to grip with ease without transferring any heat to your hand. This is what makes these gloves so different from the rest. They make sure you have a firm grip with transferrable heat.

  • Anti Heat And Fire
  • These gloves will protect you from up to 480 degrees Fahrenheit. This means your hands will always be safe while wearing Tuff Glove. The gloves are so strong because the technology was originally designed for the military.

Infomercial

Most kitchen gloves are too thin to protect you from really hot pans and oven trays. Instead, try Tuff Glove. These gloves are designed to keep heat of up to 480 degrees Fahrenheit from transferring over to your hands. Comfortably check potatoes on the grill with your hands without worrying about burns. Switch that try from to the lower shelf in your oven with ease. Handle that hot pan with comfortable by wearing Tuff Glove.

Tips and Tricks

  1. Wash As Instructed
  2. In order to keep Tuff Glove in good shape, make sure to follow the washing machine instructions that come with the gloves.

  3. Keep Multiple Pairs
  4. If you often cook both on the grill outside and indoors, you may want to keep more than one pair around. This way, you are not always looking for your Tuff Glove. They will be ready to use and nearby.

Do Not Protect as Advertised

Was so excited by the idea behind these gloves and couldn't wait to try them. Imagine my surprise when getting a pan out of a 425 degree oven and feeling my hands heating up inside the gloves. Fortunately, I was able to put the pan down before getting burned. I am returning them tomorrow.

Dangerous at Best

Received 2nd to 3rd degree burns trying to remove glass casserole dish from oven which slipped out of the gloves, shattered, and splattered hot grease over my arm. BE careful as these are not safe and I would not recommend to anyone!

Got Quit a Burn

Taking pizza out of oven got blisters on two fingers and my thumb. Oven was a little over 400f. I'm not out money as they were a gift, but just thought people should know I consider the product dangerous.

Not worth the Money or Time to Buy

I regret buying the Tuff Glove. The gloves fit fine, but does not keep the heat away. I have had to double up the glove with another hot pad just to keep from getting burned. Do not recommend buying the Tuff Glove.

Nope!

They don't fit and not sure why. Fingers are too long and narrow so it hurts to put my hands in these. But, they are also so long that it doesn't seem safe to use them. I have normal, average sized hands and fingers.

Smelled Like Mildew Out Of The Box

Even after washing them 3 times: first, as is, and then with the 2 inside layers pulled-out, they still smelled like mildew! I couldn't find who distributed them through an online search to tell them. Needless to say, they ended up in the trash!

I have something to say!

These gloves are NOT resistant to 400 degrees. I am unable to hold cookie sheets, casserole dishes and other hot pans out the oven at 300 degrees. How can I get my $9.99 back. I bought two pairs of these gloves for $9.99 each pair. One was a gift for an elderly friend and a set for myself. The gloves are blue in color.

I am right with you, I am not happy with the Tuff Glove either. They are not heat resistant. I regret spending the money on them.
