How It Works
Tough Knees combines the benefits of three different technologies in order to make your knees feel more comfortable while you're doing anything. First of all, the copper infusions found in each sleeve will reduce odors and resist bacteria, keeping the skin beneath the sleeve healthy and clean. The sleeve will also provide targeted compression to the knee, helping to reduce or eliminate any pain and stiffness that you'd normally experience. Finally, each sleeve contains a gel pad that will absorb any impact that occurs when your knee comes in contact with a hard surface, thereby reducing the level of pain that this could cause.
- Black and Bronze
Each Tough Knees sleeve is black with a bronze stripe down each side and the bronze Copper Fit logo on the front. If you happen to get any dirt on yours while wearing it, the black shade is likely to hide it well.
The sleeve is made of an 82 percent polyester, 14 percent spandex, and 4 percent copper ion fiber blend that allows it to stretch a bit while you're wearing it. Its stretchable nature also means that you'll be able to put it on without great difficulty. Besides being flexible, its particular fabric blend resists static and pilling, and will wick moisture away from the body.
- Four Different Sizes
Tough Knees sleeves will comfortably fit individuals with thighs measuring between 15.5 and 23 inches in circumference. They come in four different sizes, including medium, large, extra large, and xxl. However, as mentioned, they will stretch a bit to accommodate a slight increase or decrease in your leg / thigh size.
- Discreet Under Clothing
Since these sleeves are so thin and lightweight, it'll be hard for anyone to tell that you're wearing one if you're also wearing long pants or a skirt or dress that goes past the knee. You won't have to get a larger pair of pants to wear with one of them, as may be required with a bulkier knee pad or a brace.
- Keeps Muscles Warm
Tough Knees can be beneficial even when you're not currently being active, as it will keep the muscles around your knee area warm while they're at rest. Hence, they'll be better prepared when you do decide to get some physical exercise.
- Improves Circulation
Besides helping reduce pain and stiffness, these sleeves will help improve circulation within the areas that they target. Improved circulation will then improve the health of your entire body, including your heart.
- Can Wear on Both Knees
If you want to treat or protect both of your knees at once, there's nothing wrong with wearing one of these sleeves on each knee simultaneously.
- Elbow Sleeves Available
The Tough Knees sleeve has been designed to only be worn on the knee. If you attempt to wear it on another body part, such as your arm or calf, it likely won't fit properly. For those individuals having elbow problems, though, there are matching Copper Fit elbow sleeves available.
Consult the size chart and measure your thigh in order to be sure that you're getting the correct size of Tough Knees. If you get a sleeve that's too big, it won't fit tightly enough to provide you with the optimum level of compression. On the other hand, if your sleeve's too small, it may cut off your circulation.
