Red Copper Air Fryer
Red Copper Air Fryer is an air fryer that prepares you food using hot air rather than unhealthy oils or fats. Using this air fryer means cutting down on your oil or butter consumption by up to 70% on average while still getting the same great taste that you would get with fried foods. With many settings and pre-programmed cooking options, you need only fill the basket with food and press a button to start cooking.
Total Cost Breakdown
When used correctly, an air fryer like this replaces unhealthy foods with healthier versions. For example: making fries with this air fryer uses only a tablespoon of oil with crispy results, compared to the mountains of oil used in other cooking methods.
- Make Lots of Foods
You can use this air fryer to prepare hamburgers, steaks, and french fries in no time. Prepare chicken, chips, fish, and perfectly crisped foods. One of the biggest advantages to such an air fryer is that you can easily cook things like poultry, meat, potatoes, or grill vegetables, or even use all of the settings to bake brownies.
- No Preheating
You can save a great deal of cooking time when you use an air fryer because there is no need to preheat the air fryer. If you want, you can opt to use pre-heating methods anyway, heating up the fryer for about four minutes or so before you cook, as it can still reduce cook time. However, it is not a requirement.
With this air fryer you can get crispy, tasty foods. One of the main reasons it works so well in cultivating a great taste is that it helps keep the outer layer crisp while the inside is soft. This is also what makes it great for foods like mozzarella sticks or fries.
- Not the Same Taste
There is a lot of hype about getting the "same" taste with air frying as you would with a deep fryer. This is simply not true. You will not get the same taste because the process of cooking is different. Nothing can replace that taste. However, the taste of air fried food is not bad.
How It Works
This air fryer uses rapid air technology to cook almost any type of food that you might otherwise cook in a lot of fat or oil. The new technology circulates air at a high temperature and then "fries" the food. You can get perfectly browned and crisped foods with up to 80% less fat compared to other cooking methods.
That said, the cooking chamber inside of the fryer radiates heat from the heating element, moving said heat close to the food. This is what cooks it effectively and evenly. An exhaust fan above the cooking chamber gives proper airflow from the underside of your food. Doing so allows heated air to regularly pass through your food. Consequently, all of your food is exposed to the same temperature. Using just a fan and grill can help your air fryer to blast more hot air at a higher speed.
Much the same as a rice cooker, this deep fryer has a wide, removable tray that can serve you food in a matter of minutes. Food comes out looking fried because of the crispy quality but it is still healthier with fewer calories.
How it's Different from Competitors
The exhaust system built into this unit controls the temperature which is increased with internal pressure and subsequently releases air as needed while your food is cooking. Extra air is filtered before it is released which makes it an environmentally friendly design too. This design is good for your health and good for the environment.
You do not have to worry about injury when you are using this air fryer, even though the air temperatures are high. Reason being, it has a built in cooling system and fan mounted to the motor axis which controls the temperature inside. It is also what keeps the air inside the container clean. Such a cooling process lets fresh air pass through the air filtration system and into the bottom of the fryer. This cools the internal components so you can grab your food out of the tray without burning yourself.
Tips & Tricks
- Cook Time
The cook time varies based on what you are preparing, but one nice thing about this design is that you can cook frozen foods if you want to. There are different settings on the outside of the unit which can be programmed to cook different foods. All you need do is add a bit more time when you are cooking a frozen version of the same food.
Given the nice capacity limits on this air fryer, be sure you do not fill the basket beyond the "max" mark. If you overfill it will not be able to work properly, nor will it be able to properly close or circulate air.
- No Specific Oil Needed
Another nice component is that you do not have to use a specific oil. When you are cooking in your air fryer you have complete control over which type of oil you use. You can try using butter spray, olive oil, avocado oil, or anything else.
- Add Ingredients While Cooking
You can add ingredients to your food while it is cooking if you want. For example: you might want to add a seasoning for the last few minutes of cooking but not for the entire time your food is cooking. You can pause the air fryer, remove the basket, and add the ingredients. Just make sure you do so quickly because you can lose heat quickly each time you stop to add more ingredients, just like you lose heat each time you open the oven.
- Using Foils and Paper
It is possible to use things like baking paper or aluminum foil inside the air fryer but you need to make sure it is appropriately spaced so that steam can still pass through the food.
- Get a Divider
If you want to cook more than one type of item at a time, you can get a divider and cook two things at once. The divide will make sure you get the proper cooking and cook time for whatever it is you are making.
- Philips Airfryer
Philips offers a line of air fryers which are sleek black designs which come in different sizes, so you can opt for a family sized basket for bigger cooking. These are faster and larger than most, able to hold up to three pounds of food at once.
GoWISE offers a rapid air touch screen technology and can hold just shy of four quarts. There are eight cooking programs on the front.
