Features

  • Long Battery Life

The company claims that this product comes with a seven year battery life, which means that theoretically one unit could be used for a child throughout the span of their childhood.

  • Durable

The drawing pad is durable and water resistant so a few splashes here and there will not hurt it.

  • Great Screen

This unit comes with a multi-colored screen for better viewing while you work. The screen is even translucent so that kids of all ages can trace things they see, or stencils they order.

  • Save Work

Kids using it can rely upon the easy touch button to make their work disappear so that they can begin anew. All it takes is one press of the top central button. However, before it gets too late, kids can use the corresponding app to save, edit, and share their work later. It offers children a chance to explore their artistic side and work together with friends.

Pros

  • Good for All Ages

With the stencils younger kids are able to learn their alphabet, learn math, and play educational games all while being creative. Older kids can use the game stencils to play word find games, dots and boxes, maze games, and even tic tac toe.

  • Guarantee

You get a money back guarantee for the first thirty days after your order is placed.

  • Free Upgrade

When you order from the company you get a free deluxe upgrade which gives you 4 different styluses. Two of which are in the shape of pens both thick and thin, or of which is a large marker shape, and the fourth of which is like a shovel.

Consumers also get the protective case built onto the Magic Sketch product, 60 different stencils, and one roller with three stamps. The roller lets kids roll various borders and shapes onto the panel while the stencils are not just letters but shapes, patterns, large images, and even outlines for games like tic-tac-toe. This means endless entertainment for children of all ages.

Cons

  • Extra Costs

They add more shipping in the form of eight dollars for items sent to Canada, and an extra thirteen dollars for things sent to Alaska, Hawaii, or the U. S. Virgin Islands. What’s more, states including Nevada, Ohio, and Utah have state taxes applied to their order.

  • Not Sold in Stores

This offer is not available in stores so parents are forced to make the order through the website. Results of this mean required upgrade to the deluxe kit, shipping and handling costs, and a longer shipping time. When you add this all together the cost is just shy of forty dollars for one unit.

How It Works

The device uses a liquid crystal screen so that it writes as easily as using a pen and paper, but then erases at the touch of an electric button. Their corresponding app lets kids save things before erasing, so that each time they trace something or create a new design while at a restaurant or sitting in a long car ride, their work remains. When the pen hits the screen it draws in a colorful rainbow, so each piece of art becomes a wonderfully bright piece of craftsmanship.

I have a Question

Is it really worth it for the price? It is just shy of $40 for one and I have to buy two for both of my kids. Sometimes the colors look really bright and other times I can't see them as well in other video clips.
