- Flymop Head
The cleaning head is a large, 18 inch cleaning head.
This cleaning head can be used to mop, sweep, and scrub all in one.
Safely use it on tile floors, wood floors, and marble, on baseboards, molding, stairs, or around furniture.
Clean in deeper seams where a round map wouldn’t reach while picking up hair, dust, and dirt.
This all in one cleaner can be used wet or dry, which is how it works as a broom or mop.
It can fold over ceiling fans, using the same folding procedure used in the cleaning bucket. As such, it can reach cobwebs at 90 degree wall angles.
With a large head size it reduces the amount of cleaning time, due to the fact that it picks up more each time it is swiped.
The head pivots, making it easier to move around furniture, corners, or any other problem areas.
- Microfiber Cloths
The microfiber cleaning cloths can be removed if they acquire too much grim and machine washed, then reused.
This saves costs by alleviating the need to constantly go to the store and buy more disposable cleaning cloths.
The cloths affixed to the large head are microfiber cloths.
As such, they dry faster, pick up more debris, and can be used to scrub away soap scum or dirt and grim from carpets better than traditional, disposable Swiffer pads or reusable microfiber cloth mittens.
This mop comes with patented dirt extraction bucket for cleaning.
The mop head folds down and sits neatly atop a pump piston which, after a few pumps, swirls around effectively removing any dirt particles on the mop.
After scraping it clean from grim, the mop is placed into the second part of the bucket where a high speed spin cycle extracts any remaining water.
When the mop is removed from the bucket, it is free from hazardous drips.
Doing this alleviates the need to put hands inside of a bucket of dirty water or touch the mop head to remove clumps of hair or debris.
Alongside the health benefits, this bucket comes with an anti-splash rim so when it is moved around the floor the dirty water will not toss out, making a bigger mess.
This bucket has 360 degree rotating wheels, so it too can be moved around furniture, odd corners, or other obstacles while cleaning.
There are wheels which protect all floor types from scratches as the bucket is dragged across the floor.
When cleaning is done, the bucket can be placed over a drain and the drain plug can be removed from the bucket.
Doing this alleviates the health hazard of trying to dispose of dirty water.
If you empty it in a sink, you can drain the dirty water, pour clean water through it to catch any remaining dirt and grim, and let it naturally rinse itself with the same drain.
How it's Different from Competitors
The cleaning head is 40% wider than competitors. It has a look and feel is similar to the Swiffer, insofar as it has a long, flat head.
The product can also twist and turn to reach corners and trickier areas to clean. Some examples include baseboards, stairs, or dark corners beneath furniture.
With Swiffers, there are different designs for sweeping and mopping, but with this FlyMop there is but one item to do all of that.
What’s more, while Swiffers are incredibly effective at getting into the harder to reach areas similarly to FlyMop, they cannot really be used to scrub floors clean. Competing products require floors to be swept before they can be used.
