How It Works

Elastic Plastic comes in squeezable tubes and can be blown up and stretched to make fun, colorful plastic balloons. After you’ve rolled your plastic into a ball, and have stuck it onto the end of a blowing straw, you just need to blow and then watch it grow. The balloons that you’ve made with Elastic Plastic won’t pop easily like regular balloons, even when you smash, poke, or push on them. You can even combine different colors from separate tubes to make a very distinct-looking balloon.

  1. Holiday Parties
  2. If you need balloons for a birthday party or another holiday gathering, you can have hours of fun making them with Elastic Plastic instead of buying them at a store.

  3. Gifts
  4. Elastic Plastic makes a great gift to give a child on their birthday, another holiday, or just because. If you’re lucky, they’ll let you play with their Elastic Plastic kit, too.

  5. Playing Outdoors
  6. There are a variety of ways you can use the balloons you create with Elastic Plastic outdoors. For instance, you could make a bunch of animals and play pretend with them in your backyard. Alternatively, you could blow up a large balloon and have a game of volleyball with it at the park or in the pool.

  7. Playing Indoors
  8. You can also safely play with your Elastic Plastic balloons indoors if you’re careful and you don’t throw them too high.

  9. Secret Messages
  10. Each balloon that you create with Elastic Plastic is resealable, so you can put a secret message inside and deliver it to a friend. If you want to gift them a special gift, too, a small toy will also fit inside one of these balloons. You can also use one to carry around your own favorite toy or belonging.

How to Use (Step by Step)

  1. Prepare Ball
  2. Squeeze some Elastic Plastic out of one tube and roll it into a ball. If you want to make a multicolored balloon, you can squeeze some out of more than one tube and roll it into the same ball.

  3. Attach To Straw
  4. Your Elastic Plastic kit will come with three blowing straws. Firmly attach your ball of plastic to the end of a straw.

  5. Blow
  6. Blow through the straw and watch as the Elastic Plastic expands into an attractive balloon. When your balloon’s the size you want it to be, simply stop blowing.

Positive Points

  • Three Colors Of Plastic
  • In a basic kit, you receive four tubes of Elastic Plastic in green, red, blue, and yellow.

  • Can Make Large Balloons
  • Some balloons from a store won’t blow up very big without popping, but with Elastic Plastic, you can make balloons about the size of a standard beach ball.

  • Great Group Activity
  • Playing with Elastic Plastic will provide great entertainment when a bunch of friends or family members have gathered together, especially if there are a lot of kids present. The product is safe for people of all ages to use.

On the infomercial, a standard balloon is shown being easily popped with a fork. A balloon made with Elastic Plastic is also poked with a fork, but it doesn’t pop.

Suckers be Warned

This is not a new product by any means.

They sell the same stuff ( different name, brand ) at Dollar Tree!

Maybe one out of ten of these TV toys is ever any good, and people are always getting ripped off by the phantom credit card charges that follow.

Modern-day crook carnies.

Pretty Amazing

I just got Amazing Elastic Plastic and it is pretty amazing. My balloons did get quite large, though they did not quite feel like beach balls as I read one description of these balloons. Also, it did not have a strong odor and was not sticky. Maybe they reformulated the product since it was not like the previous review.

Not Amazing

This stuff is nasty and should be taken off the market! It smells like acetone and took the finish off my dining room table. It says no toxic but I don't believe that claim. It's going in the garbage. I wouldn't waste your money on this stuff.

I have a Question

I bought this product in the 1990’s when it was available in stores. Can Amazing Elastic Plastic be found in stores, and if it is not available, will it soon be available in stores? I would rather save money on shipping and handling. As I recall, the bubbles were more durable than other brands of plastic bubbles that I played with as a child. Also, it did not have a strong odor that other brands of plastic bubbles had. However, I could never blow bubbles as large as they show on TV. I heard a description that an Amazing Elastic Plastic balloon felt like a beach ball, but I’ve never blown a bubble that was the size or felt like a beach ball. I can’t wait to try it. If you want to send me a free sample because I asked about the product, here is my address: Marie Gelsomino 222 E. Broad St. Apt. 1107 Tamaqua, PA 18252
